Madhya Pradesh is a large state of our country. Its capital is Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh implies its name as Madhya means “Central” and Pradesh means “Region”. The state is bounded by the states of Uttar Pradesh to the northeast, Gujarat to the southwest, Rajasthan to the northwest, Chhattisgarh to the southeast and to the south its Maharashtra. Hindi is the official language and widely spoken in the state. People also speak Awadhi and Bundele language in the northwestern part of this state. The economy of this state depends on agriculture.

The main crop cultivated here is wheat, millet, rice pulses, and sorghum. Madhya Pradesh is the largest producer of soybean in our country. The state has a rich history of ancient temples, forests, and the oldest caves. The state is popular for the oldest historical stupa at Sanchi near Vidisha built by Ashoka the Great the renowned emperor.  Fisheries industries are also growing because the state has many rivers, canals, ponds, and reservoirs.

You may observe some remarkable artwork on the caves in this state. Udaigiri and the Bagh caves are famous for their ancient art work. There are many tourist attractions in this state which attracts visitors from all over the world. I am highlighting some places to visit in Madhya Pradesh

 1. Khajuraho:

Khajuraho is the world-famous ancient temple which attracts tourists from all over the world. The temples are adorned by the sensual and erotic carvings. It adds the temple in the world heritage by UNESCO. Khajuraho temple is the best example of  Indian architecture. The temple is an ancient structure but still scattering its beauty.

 2.Dulhadeo Temple:

Constructed in the year 1130 and renowned as the best places to visit in Madhya Pradesh. We dedicate this temple to Lord Shiva and the sculpture and architecture of this temple are just amazing.

 3. Light and sound show Khajuraho:

You may visit the light and sound show nearby Khajuraho temple. You will also hear the history of this temple and other details narrated by Amitabh Bacchan a popular actor in the Bollywood industry. The show is amazing and you cannot forget it forever.

4.Parswanath temple: 

Parshwanath temple is another tourist attraction and best place to visit in Madhya Pradesh. This temple is the largest temple among all the eastern group of temples. You may appreciate the amazing sculpture of this temple.

5.Kandriya Mahadeo temple:

Another place to visit in Madhya Pradesh is Kandariya Mahadeo temple for its charming look. Built-in 1025-1050 AD and made of sandstone structure. This place is one of the most stunning and crowded temples at Khajuraho In this state. 

6.Bheda Ghat:

Another best place to visit in Madhya Pradesh is Bhedaghat because of 100 feet rocks on either side of Narmada. This place is also renowned for “Dhuandhar” waterfalls. You may also visit the “64 Yogini Temple” here. The transportation is easy and convenient that connects all the major towns of our country with rail, road, and train. By train, major railway stations are Indore, Jabalpur Ujjain, Khandwa, and others. Indore is the largest airport in Madhya Pradesh.
